Resignation of Mayor Robert Walsh
We have received a resignation letter from Mayor Robert Walsh effective 02/12/25. Over the past 11 years, Robert has served this community with high distinction, passion, integrity and leadership. We thank him for his commitment and service to the community as a whole with the many roles he has filled.
Deputy Mayor, Rachel Deer is currently acting in the Mayoral role. Council is seeking advice from the Electoral Commission of South Australia on the process for conducting a Supplementary Election to fill this casual vacancy, should one be required.
